Mark joins Spa Theatre Company as Assistant Director for the 2026/27 season, bringing together a lifelong passion for theatre with professional experience in creativity, marketing and communication.

Mark was a scholarship student at Playbox Theatre Company throughout his secondary school years and went on to achieve an A* in Drama at GCSE. During his studies, he wrote, staged and developed the lighting direction for his GCSE performance, developing an early passion for the creative and collaborative process behind theatre.

Outside theatre, Mark has built a career in Marketing at Jaguar Land Rover, where he works creatively to shape future products and services and develop bespoke customer experiences. He also has a strong history of supporting and representing young people, having been a founding volunteer member of South Warwickshire Youth Bank and an elected Member of Youth Parliament.

Having continued to attend and enjoy theatre throughout his professional career, Mark is excited to return to youth theatre and give back to an environment that played an important role in developing his own confidence and creativity.

As Assistant Director, Mark is particularly passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive environment where young people can find their voice, develop their skills, take creative risks and discover the confidence to be themselves. He is looking forward to working with the young people and wider Spa Theatre team, combining his professional creative experience with his love of theatre to help make the 2026/27 season a memorable one.
