We are always delighted to talk to anyone interested in joining the Spa Theatre Company. We are a friendly group and we would love to hear from you if you have an interest in what we do.
STC Juniors
This is the teaching element of the company.
Age range: 8 to 16
Entry is by audition
Each academic year consists of three terms commencing in September
There are termly fees to cover the costs of professional tuition
Teaching is provided in music, dance, mime, speech and drama
STC Juniors put on an annual production held in a professional theatre
All Juniors are encouraged to become members of the STC Seniors at the age of 15 plus
STC Seniors
This is the development and management part of the Company that consists of adults and developing Juniors, some of whom will have been members of STC Juniors.
Age range: 16 plus — no upper limit
Membership entry is by audition for, and acceptance into the cast for an annual production.
There is an annual membership fee
Regular attendance at rehearsals is a requirement of membership
A major production is performed at a professional theatre once a year
